Care of your furniture

Your solid wood furniture is made to last and even after sustaining damage, it can be restored to it's full, timeless beauty at Furniture Restoration UK.

You should try to keep your furniture out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Leave a gap of 20-30cm between the furniture and a radiator.

Spills should be mopped up soon as possible to reduce the risk of the stain and water damage.

We recommend a good quality 100% natural bees wax polish, never use silicon spray polishes as this can cause damage. We recommend you polish your furniture no more than every 6 months.

To prevent discolouring and marks, do not place objects directly onto the wooden surface. Always use mats to protect from hot plates or hard surfaces.

Being a natural product the colour of the exposed timber will change with age. This is part of the beauty of a natural wood product.
